Wisconsin Stamping can produce a myriad of two- and three-dimensional wire-based configurations ranging from simple curves, loops, and bends to multi-component assemblies. Our Wisconsin-based facility houses an expansive portfolio of state-of-the-art CNC and robotic support equipment and we can eliminate the need for expensive tooling on many projects.

Wire Forming Capabilities

Our equipment can accommodate wire diameters as small as 2 mm and as large as 13 mm in a variety of materials and finishes. We have extensive experience wire forming materials using a variety of materials, including (but not limited to):

  • Steel
  • Stainless steel
  • Aluminum
  • Copper
  • Alloys

We utilize the latest in CNC and Robotic forming equipment as well as hydraulic, pneumatic, manual, and four slide machines to offer complete wire forming services on wire from 0.062” up to 1.0” diameter. We offer in-line drilling and tapping, chamfering, flatten & pierce operations, dog ears, flats, and other cold upsetting and stamping operations. We can form any commercially available material including low carbon – brite basic steel, medium & high carbon steel, alloy steel, HDMB & Spring Tempered steel, galvanized steel, stainless steel, EPQ stainless steel, aluminum, brass, copper, nickel alloy and other commercially available materials.

Our extensive secondary operation capabilities can produce completed assemblies which include resistance (spot) welding, fully robotic MIG welding, manual MIG or TIG welding, and stamped or machined components.  In-house tooling capabilities allow us to streamline the manufacturing process to meet your delivery needs in a timely fashion.  A comprehensive quality lab combined with ISO 9001 registration means we can meet your most exacting quality requirements.

Applications of Wire-Formed Components

Wire-formed components serve applications across a variety of industries due to the adaptability and versatility of the wire forming process. With optional variations in material, finish, thickness, ductility, and length, wire-formed parts can be found in industries such as:

  • Agriculture
